When you grow up in the shadow of mountains you are like a fish who doesn’t know what water is. It’s not until you wander away that you realize what you have been breathing. We instinctively know that when we need comfort and counsel we should go up. All of nature is pointing us that way.

Jared’s brother carried his stones in his hands to the very top. He knew.

​These beautiful temples dot the earth and when we come to one, we just start climbing.
