Frequently Asked Questions

More questions? Please contact me.
Where do you get your materials?
My pieces are made from reclaimed wood from a variety of sources. The acrylic paint also comes from
second hand sources. I am excited to be working with left overs to try to create something beautiful in
place of the mess.
How do I hang heavier pieces?

At my house I like to move pieces around so I have single screws in studs that can hold any of my pieces.
  • If you hang on 2 screws in two parallel studs, your piece will be less able to shift and will stay straighter.
  • If you have metal studs or need to hang in a very specific place, you can use the 100 lb weight nails that can be purchased at any hardware store. I suggest using 2 for added safety.
  • If you are going to keep a larger piece up permanently (48x48), I suggest using a cleat system. This is how my pieces were hung in the Delta Lounge in the Salt Lake City International Airport by professional hangers and will keep the piece snug up against the wall and completely square.
What are the depths of your artwork?
When finished, my Art In The Park To Go packages are 2 inches in depth.
My Little Beauties are 2 inches in depth.
My Bigger Works range from 1 inch deep to 3 inches deep.

Can I pick up my purchase at your studio in West Jordon, utah?
Yes! I would love to meet you and if you have time, give you a tour of my studio. Let's talk and figure out a best time for the both of us.
How would I clean your artwork?
I apply an archival semi-gloss varnish to all my artwork. Simply wipe with a dusting cloth, dusting wand or if needed, a slightly damp soft cloth to wipe away any dirty fingerprints.
There's a piece I really like, however i'd love it in another color scheme. Can you do that?
I accept commissions. Let's talk about how I can build the perfect piece for you. Please read more on the Commissions page of this site.
I've seen your work showing an Older loving couple. Can you create a piece I could give to Young newlyweds I love?
I love creating a commissioned piece that becomes a family heirloom. Let's talk about how I can build a piece that reflects their love. Please read more on the Commissions page of this site.
What are your shipping and returns policies?
Please read the Shipping and Returns Polices page.
What is your copyright policy? One of your pieces hangs in my store and I'd like to use an image of it on the store's poster announcing our grand re-opening.
I am so glad you love my artwork. Thank you for asking as you will need written permission from me. Please contact me soon. Also read the Artwork Terms of Use page.
Do you accept wholesale purchases from interior designers and art consultants?
I will consider the possibilities, please contact me to discuss details.
Does your artwork come with a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes. My pieces are packaged with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
